Into You Blog Tour

Buy Links

"You start out with the best of intentions, but inevitably you hurt each other. I love you, but that didn't stop me from hurting you last night, or this morning. Love sucks. It's just the way it is.”

Falling in love is easy. But what happens when that love has been tossed aside and trampled on by the person who swore to cherish it? Can you ever trust again, or will the bitter taste of betrayal keep you from allowing anyone else in?

Carter and Elizabeth each have their own issues with love and trust. Both have had their hearts broken and carry the scars of the past into their relationship with each other. Is love ever enough? Can it overcome?
Carter faces his past with Elizabeth by his side, but it continues to haunt him at every turn. Can he let go and believe in her enough to leave his past behind him or will he push too hard and send her running into another man’s arms?

Into You by Danielle Sibarium, has definitely been one of my favorite reads this year. I feel in love with this author the moment I discovered her debut novel, For Always, but more so as I got to know her and see her grow within each new book she wrote. Her YA books are amazing but her NA’s are more deep, dark, and fascinating.

Into takes us on a journey with Elizabeth and Carter. I was thrilled when I learned Danielle was telling this tour with dual POVs. There’s something about having the male’s views that appeals to me and she doesn’t disappoint. Elizabeth runs into Carter on the street, literally, with an egg joke they decide to have coffee together. She’s not looking for anything, and he’s not the serious type…anymore…right?

Not being able to get their minds off one another, they decided to go out again and as they say it the rest is history… or is it that history has a way of popping up at the wrong time? Either way it happened. You can feel the insane attraction, but Elizabeth was shielding herself from getting a broken heart and so was Carter. Then Carter finds out who Elizabeth works for and his past comes crashing into his future along with all his insecurities and trust issues. But Elizabeth isn’t a saint either, her past comes back and puts all of Carter’s fears to light. Will they get through it? What are these so called secrets anyways?

Danielle has an awesome way of telling a story without it feeling rushed or instantaneous. It’s absolutely perfect and not filled with unnecessary drama. I seriously cannot wait to see what she turns up next. If you haven’t picked up your copy of Into You, you should totally get on that.

Author Bio

Danielle Sibarium grew up as an only child of divorced parents in Brooklyn, New York. Her imagination was developed at an early age. Surrounded by stuffed animals and imaginary friends, she transported herself into a fantasy world full of magic and wonder. Books were the gateway between her play world and reality. On any given summer afternoon she became Snow White sweeping and cooking for the dwarfs, or Cinderella waiting for the prince.

Danielle always loved dialogue and in elementary school began writing plays and short stories. This is when she began to understand she could not only bring her fantastical world to life for herself, but she could enchant others as well. And so she wrote. She wrote and wrote and wrote. Sadly the first piece she ever sent out for publication of any sort was a letter to the editor of The Home News Tribune. It was a piece of thanking the first responders for their bravery and selflessness on Sept. 11th. It was chosen as letter of the week.

In 2007 Danielle collaborated with Charlotte Doreen Small to write songs for her CD More. Danielle wrote the lyrics for Take My Hand, and Goodbye, while Charlotte contributed the melody. In October 2011 Danielle’s debut novel For Always was released. She has since released The Heart Waves Trilogy, Heart Waves, Breaking Waves, and Waves of Love.  Danielle graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with honors, and currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children.

Cover Reveal- Christmas Salvation

When I finished writing Deviation, I knew it wasn't going to be the end of their story. However I thought more would come in companion novels, but I saw everyone writing Christmas Novellas and wanted to make one too. The moment I decided I was going to do one, Angel and Nevaeh started talking again and wouldn't shut up until I wrote what they said down. Hello Christmas Salvation!  So I present you with a little continuation of their story, I hope you like it! This care is definitely one of my favorites making, the full wrap I awesome too, but I'll reveal that later!

Excerpt
He has that way about him, making you believe in something when you’ve lost all hope. He lives up to his name day after day in every single way possible. I wish I could say that everything since he proposed has been easy. That all we did was love each other as much as possible and as many times as possible, but that’s not the case at all. As soon as we left the cemetery we drove to his mom’s place to give her the good news and it hasn’t stopped since then. We had to pick a date, invitations, a location, flowers, and a dress. To say I was overwhelmed is putting it lightly, I was on the verge of breaking down, and each day brought me closer to the cliff until one day… I jumped head first back into the very thing I said I would never go back to.
I went to see Elise.

The Thrill of It Review

A new adult story of Love. Sex. Addiction. Blackmail. And Power...

Some say love can be an addiction. Others say it's the thing that makes life worth living. Let me tell you everything I know about love...Love isn't patient, love isn't kind. Love is a game, a chase. A thrill. Love is wild and war-like, and every man and woman must fight for themselves. At least that's how it was for me. A high-priced virgin call girl by the time I started college, I was addicted to love and to sex. Even though I've never had either. I controlled love, played it, and held the world in the palm of my hands. Then I fell down from those highs, and I'm being blackmailed for all my mistakes, forced to keep secrets from everyone, except the only guy I don't regret.

Trey...

With all the other women, I knew what they were. They were temporary. They were pills, they were bottles, they took away all the pain, and numbed the awful memories that wore down my ragged, wasted heart. Until I met Harley. She's the only girl I ever missed when she walked away. But now she's back in my life, every day, and there are no guarantees for us, especially since I don't know how to tell her my secrets. What happened to my family. All I know is she's the closest I've ever come to something real, and I want to feel every second of it.

How can you love with no regrets when regret is all you know?

Is it just me or are author's kicking ass at writing awesomeness?! I hope to be half of what the author's I've read lately are. Seriously, I'm so caught up in how amazing they are that I've neglected attempting anything! That's not entirely true, but I do find myself lost more in reading than writing lately and one of the books that captured my attention is no doubt The Thrill of it by Lauren Blakely. But like I said before there are some authors who are amazing no matter what they write and she is definitely one of them. Normally I would have posted my review with Christina on our Crazy Book Chicks Naughty & Nice blog for the blog tour, but... my original review was lost! :( Seriously I cried so I apologize if this review totally sucks, but I wanted to post something even if its tiny to show the appreciation to the author for her fabulous book! So enjoy and if you hate it SORRY!

I totally and completely fell in love with Harley. I hate her mother though. Cannot stand her and blame her for how Harley turns out at the beginning. She's stronger than her mother though and its a quality I admire. Its not like our typical girls we read were the knight in shinning armor comes and saves the day, its the complete opposite in fact. Harley walks into a tattoo parlor to get this tattoo to remind her of her mother and what she's overcoming when she meets Trey. Trey's the sexy tattoo artists. The one that has your insides swooning and your mind running. Yup that's hottie Trey and boy do I love him. I love the boys with issues and Trey has his fair share of baggage of the cougar variety. We all cope in different ways, the ironic copying mechanism is what brings these two together after a night that was supposed to end their past.

But like they say the past doesn't always stay in the past. They form a bond, but both struggle to remain on the friendship line. A line that inevitable blurs. A line that pushes Harley back to her pimp Cam. Normally I would hate any form of pimp, but I have to say Lauren Blakely has me liking Cam in his weirdness. He's not the 'normal' pimp we're used to seeing portrayed. Once you belong to one you always do, Cam isn't like that and I love that about him. Harley and Trey have a long road ahead of them, but together they can conquer it all. Just to let you all know there will be another book so don't be surprised with the ending even though I am every time I read this book... yes I've read it a few times, okay maybe more than a few but what can I say other than I love it! SO go grab this book if you haven't already!
<3 Dani

Waves of Love Blog Tour Stop

Jenna knew Reece would break her heart, when he did Tyler stepped in to pick up the pieces.

As she’s ready to take the next step with Tyler, Jenna finds herself face to face with Reece. Lies and secrets are discovered from the two boys she trusted the most. And now it’s more than just her heart on the line, it’s her life as well.

Torn between two amazing guys Jenna’s certain of only one thing, this is the most important decision of her life. One almost destroyed her. The other brought her back to life. The time has come to choose. Can Jenna move forward with Tyler or will she be stuck in the past with Reece?

OH. MY. GODDESS. This book was beyond my expectations. I first got introduced to Danielle Sibarium books by her book For Always. I absolutely fell in love with the way Danielle writes and emotional story and so when I found out that she was coming out with Heart Waves, I automatically bought the book. I absolutely fell in love with the way the story was created. A modern day take on the most epically tragic love story, Romeo and Juliet, but with a twist. Usually when there is two guys that are potential love interests, we fan girls, break up into teams. We see it with Twilight, Team Edward or Team Jacob, well the Heart Wave series is no different.

Though my team didn’t form until the second book, Breaking Waves. From that book on I was and will always be Team Reece. I absolutely despised Tyler. I didn’t trust him as far as I could throw him. Granted the boy is hot, but something never sat right with me. I also didn’t like Jenna much in Breaking Waves either. I mean she did the opposite of what Reece asked her to do, and yes sometimes it takes another guy to mend a broken heart, but really? I won’t get into the details because you have to read the books. Seriously if you haven’t picked up these books you are seriously missing out.

When I received Waves of Love in my mail box, I was so nervous. It was the first time I was so anxious to read a book and so terrified at the same time. There was three ways Danielle could take this book. Option 1 Jenna ends up with Tyler, Option 2 Jenna ends up with Reece (if he’s alive), or Option 3 the modern take on Romeo & Juliet, ends like Romeo & Juliet. I was at the edge of my bed the entire time. I was freaking out, frequently I might add, and literally having to pause for a few seconds to talk myself down. I can usually figure out how a book is going to end, but Danielle had me guessing right up until the last page. I can’t expand further on my thoughts because, I would give too much away. Just know that you HAVE to start this series if you haven’t already!
I adore Danielle, and it’s not just because we share the same name. I adore her because she tackles real life events in her stories, maybe not so realistically in the Heart Waves series because there is a touch of a paranormal aspect to it, but the issues are still the same. I usually have a few quotes I love to include in my reviews, this review however I am only going to leave one quote. I’ll let you decide the meaning behind it.

“…we ended a tragedy and woe, so that Juliet can now live happily with her Romeo.”

What do you think? Does Jenna get to live happily with her Romeo? And what defines happily, because sometimes in death we are truly freed. Have you interested to see what happens next? Pick up your copy now! You all know I love music, so I created a playlist with the help of my friend Christina, so check it out!

Teaser Tuesday!!

So it's been a while since I've done a teaser Tuesday, so I decided to share today! I've been working on this book Never Crossover, you might have read a few teasers I have floating around on some friends blog, but if you haven't you're in luck today! I'm sharing the unedited Prologue with you and I hope you absolutely love it.

Never Crossover is slightly different than my two previous books because its YA, upper YA because of slight language, but I'm trying to keep it PG. LOL I hope you like what I have so far and I'm looking to release Never Crossover January 6, 2014 and the cover reveal will be sometime in December. Leave me some comments, tweet me, facebook me, or email me and let me know what you think! I love getting feedback from y'all!

Prologue – The Party Phoebe

Paige is looking in the mirror for the umpteenth time. I swear it doesn’t matter how she dresses, hell she could put on a paper bag and look absolutely stunning. I hate her. I love her. It’s an ongoing battle, but when it comes down to it, I would do anything for her. Anything but go to this ridiculous excuse of a party.

“Come on Phoebe! I don’t know why you have to be so anti-social.” Paige is walking back and forth between our bedroom through the Jack and Jill doors.

It’s the same thing she always tells me each time some sort of school function is put on. She doesn’t get that I’m not the popular one. The only reason they talk to me is because I’m her twin. Normally I would cave and go with her because someone needed to be the responsible one, but not tonight.

“Paige just go already. I’m sure everyone is waiting on you. Just call me if you drink too much and need a ride home. “I go back to my book and get comfortable underneath the blankets. She stomps her foot a little and then slams my side of the door to the bathroom making the ice in the glass of Dr. Pepper on my night stand clink together. Wonderful.

It’s eerily quiet in the house but I can feel something looking at me. I have my reading light on and it’s casting shadows across the room. Maybe reading The Haunting Season by Michelle Muto was a mistake. My ears strain to hear any kind of noise, but there’s nothing but quiet. Who knew silence could be so loud?

Ignoring the feeling and chalking it up to the fact that I’m reading a scary book, I turn page after page of the story getting completely sucked into the people being locked in objects. Mirrors, I need to cover all the mirrors in my house after this book. Mentally I tally how many I have, when I hear a noise. According to my kindle I’m 70% into the book when I just started it a few hours ago.

Turning my head toward the bathroom door, hoping to see light shining underneath it to alert me that Paige is home, but it’s black. My eye catches the alarm clock sitting on my desk as I examine the room. Its after 3 o’clock in the morning, surely Paige is already home and tucked into her bed.

Pulling back the covers and placing my feet on the carpet, a shiver descends my spine, and ignites a slow burn of awareness. I can still feel eyes watching me and it doesn’t matter which way I turn, it’s a constant glare. I make it to the door of our shared bathroom with sweat coats my hands. I turn the handle, push, and I’m rewarded with more darkness. I inch my way across the freezing tiles, flip the switch on the other side of the wall, and see nothing. Paige still isn’t home yet.

Turning around to check my phone, I drop to my knees. The overwhelming urge to puke is clawing its way up my throat. Eyes, more than one set, I feel roaming all over me. Analyzing me. Watching me. The feeling is so intense, I open my mouth to scream when my breath gets sucked back in. It’s like I was just punched in the stomach. Except it’s so much worse. It’s like I was stabbed and the knife was twisted while it was inside of me.

I’ve never had a panic attack and I’ve never had that weird twin ESP. You know when you have twins one can have something done and the other would feel it like it was happening to them? I read a lot and they have a few studies on how identical twins could feel things from each other or develop some of the same skills. Paige and I never had that. Yeah we looked alike but that’s where our similarities stopped. She liked to go out and I liked to stay home. To be honest, we were never really close, but I feel this.

I can feel Paige struggling to stay alive and then I feel a piece of me being pulled away.

Like it? Want to read more? Add Never Crossover on Goodreads HERE Thank you!

HUGE Thank you!

I just want to take a little time out to say how grateful I am to be surrounded by so many amazing people. I'm most known on Twitter/Facebook for being a book blogger, 1/2 of  the Crazy Book Chicks, and to most it wouldn't seem I'm terribly shy, but I totally am. Not too many people knew when I was writing my first book but a few selective people. I was so scared about what people would think about Entrelacen, had a tour going on for another author, and taking care of my three boys that I didn't do a blog tour for it. Entrelacen is really personal to me, so part of me was extremely scared to put it out there, but I did. Like a new author, I'm not doing crazy well, but I'm not writing and publishing to try and make an income of it. It would be really awesome if I could, and I'm sure other authors would agree with me when I say this, I write and publish my stories because it's something that needs to written down. If it takes off great, if not, oh well. It's something I've always wanted to do and never thought I could. So when I hit publish that first time, I kid you not, I hid. Actually I published Entrelacen on my 26th birthday so I stayed away from my house and internet connection so I couldn't torture myself. Did it do awesome... for me hell yes! I was ecstatic that it sold one copy, let alone what it actually sold. Is it a lot, not by some peoples standards but for me it is.

So then another story came about. one night. I'm real big on paths and believing things happen for a reason. One night talking to someone, we got on the topic of how we as humans deviate. How the temptation, emotions, or even just life can cause you to move away from the "right" path. Then again whose to say what the "right" path is? That's how Deviation came to be. I'm pretty open with the experiences I've gone through it my life, if you have a question, I'll do the best to ask. If you've read Entrelacen or even my bio, you might see that I've adopted my three boys. Nevaeh's story was something that needed to be told. It was a drive for me, constantly pushing me until I finished. Nevaeh was a foster kid by unfortunate events in her life and like some kids in the system, she got dealt some pretty crappy excuses for foster parents. When I was going through the process of trying to get my kids out of the system and into my care, I took a Foster Parent/Adopting class that the state required. I was the youngest person in the class, one of the only single females, and one everyone thought couldn't do it. I learned so much and some things I wish I never had to see or hear. So the things I said that happened to Neveah, happen. It's sad and unthinkable but realistic.

No where am I saying turning to drugs, alcohol, or suicide is acceptable. What I'm saying is that sometimes we live life with blinders on. That if it isn't happening directly to us, we don't see it, so Deviation is just something to think about. How many times have you wondered if you're on the path your destined for? It's never too late to do something you've always wanted to do, to live life to its fullest. So here's where I come to the point of this post, this is for all of you bloggers. There is no way I can ever express how amazing you are and how truly honored I am that you signed up to be part of Deviation's blog tour. I know how busy you are, trust me, I'm trying to do 100 things at once just like you. I may have 2 books out right now, but blogging, organizing tours and cover reveals for other authors is something I love to do. So a big huge THANK YOU to Christopher Chapman ,Kathryn CandaceKellyMeaganNatashaLesleyAvaTess, you all are awesome bloggers and I'm honored to be on your blog! Then another HUGE THANK YOU to Michelle NicolePriyaHelen BoswellMichelle MutoDanielle SibariumMisty Provencher you authors are beyond amazing and completely awed that you posted on your blogs for me. Then there's Christina PryorRachel WalterAllura, and Heather, I owe y'all the biggest hugs and thank you's ever. If it wasn't for y'all, Deviation wouldn't be what it is now. Then the last thank you... to YOU. Yes you. You the reader is probably the most important person to thank because if you love my book you'll share it around. SO thank you for taking a chance on me. I adore each and every one of you!

So that concludes my massively long post about my two books, and my big thank you's. So go pick up my book if you haven't and if you have, go pick up another book by someone else, check out the blogs I've linked to get some amazing recommendations. Read, read, and read some more!

Ivy League Blog Tour Stop

“Within a few months, everything changed for me, and as anyone could probably guess already, not for the better. Life, itself, began to fall apart...

But I guess that’s what happens when you become a teenage drug-dealer.”

Jamie Brewer has just gotten the one piece of mail he’s been waiting for his
whole life: his college acceptance letter. But when a series of unfortunate events makes paying tuition to one of the most prestigious universities in the country practically impossible, Jamie makes a decision that will not only provide him with the cash he needs, but may also get him killed in the process…

Selling drugs starts out well for Jamie, but things quickly begin to spiral out of control: his best friend and girlfriend are weary of his career choice, a local police officer is determined to catch him in the act, and worst, his partner in crime, Gabe, may be more dangerous than anyone ever imagined.

What begins as fun and games is about to become much more serious, causing Jamie to question just how far he will go and who’s lives he will risk in order to become Ivy League

It seems lately Christina and I have stumbled across new authors every day. Whether we are introduced by friends, sharing the same love of books, or by pure coincidence. Christopher Waltz is no exception to that. Christina started talking to Christopher and mentioned to me that he had his own book out. Being me I went to check it out. Like most of you I wasn’t sure about it. By the cover and description it doesn’t seem like something I would typically read, but I thought why not. I mean if we didn’t give people a chance no matter what the books are about, we would all be a bunch of writers with no reader’s right? Well I’m glad I took the chance.

Ivy League is definitely worth the chance. I know I say to trust me a lot, but I stick by my word. We all have different tastes and though I like this book you might not but that’s ok. Christopher managed to write a book that is seriously packed with some hard choices, tough love, and major consequences. I have this problem were I have to listen to music when I write or read. It helps me understand the story more fully by having all my sense fully committed to what I’m focusing on.  Obviously through the synopsis you see that this book is going to be about drugs. So if you have an opinion on that, this book is probably not for you, however I encourage you to keep an open mind and take the chance.

Jaime, a high school senior who just found out he made it into his first choice College. As seniors we have these big dreams about going to our choice schools. Some of us make, some of us don’t. Well Jaime did but he didn’t look at the bigger picture. He focused on the applying process not so much on the paying for it if he got accepted. An easy thing to overlook, especially when you so worried if you’re going to get in or not. Surrounded by his best friend Airic and a few other people in his group of friends a comment is made when Jaime realizes he doesn’t have a way to pay for college.

“And look, if all else fails, you can always sell drugs.”

Granted it was said as a joke, but why not right? I mean that’s an easy way to make money and Jaime knew just who to go to. Resident bad boy Gabe. It doesn’t happen immediately. But Jaime thinks it over does research, and his deciding factor is when his parents announce the splitting of their family. Which begs the question would he have done it if his parents would have stayed together? Why not see if he could apply for financial aid late? So many other options that he could have looked into, that’s what you’re thinking right? And you might be right, but who at 18 thinks everything fully through? You see a possible solution to a problem and it’s not going to a permanent career right, so why not do it just until you get the money you need?

“A part of me wanted to strip my clothes off and dive into the pool of Jacksons, Grants, and Benjamins, letting the money was over my body like cleansing water.”

Well like everything, nothing is ever that easy. Jaime talks to Gabe and they start on this partnership endeavor. In the process Jaime and Airic’s friendship becomes strained. Kip, Jaime’s little brother, starts sticking his nose into his business, and then there’s Riley. Riley is a girl that Jaime has had a crush on for a while now. Just when things start looking up, Jaime’s making good money, the quote above is perfect. I don’t know about you but have you ever gotten paid a lot of money for the first time and all you wanted to do was through it in the air and let it fall all over you? Or throw it on the bed and roll in it because it’s your money and you can? No? Well I guess I’m like Jaime here, I’ve always wanted to do that, lol. On top of his money making gaining speed, he’s dating the girl of his dreams, but with the good comes the bad. The bad being in the form of Gabe. Gabe is becoming more than Jaime bargained for or more than he can frankly handle.

Every choice has their own sets of consequences. Something finally happens to push Jaime. What is it you ask, well I’m not going to tell you because you need to read this book. And just when you think, YES!, you are shocked beyond your imagination. You know something bad is going to happen, but when it does you’re like OMFG NO!  Intrigued, you should be. Like I said this book isn’t the typical YA romance you’re used to seeing us post on the blog, but this book is definitely worthy of its spot here.

One of the things you’ve noticed from the way I do my reviews is how I connect to the story. My connection to this story is high school. I wasn’t a drug-dealer or a user for that matter, but growing up where I did, running into a dealer or a user was more common than not. The neighborhood I lived in was notorious for it. Like Gabe there’s always that one person who thinks they are better, untouchable, yet every time they are proven wrong. So in the end like Christopher Waltz puts it so perfectly…

“One day we will all become monsters.”

Author Bio
Christopher Waltz was born in Indiana in 1987 and promptly began writing once leaving the womb. While this is a complete lie, Christopher did begin writing around age eight at which point he penned and illustrated a sequel to the film "Jumanji."

Since that time, Christopher has continued writing and obtained a degree in
secondary education from Indiana University's School of Education. He currently works with a non-profit organization and writes, hoping to one day be a famous and influential author.

He has recently published his first novella, "Come as you are" on the Amazon Kindle Store and lulu.com.
