A Message of Flowers Blog Tour Stop

White Carnations - pure love, sweet and lovely.
Daisy - Innocence, beauty, simplicity.

To florist, Georgina Nickols, every flower has a meaning and a purpose. Flowers are something she knows, lives, and breathes. But when they start mysteriously showing up on her porch, she’s unsure of their meaning, and of who is leaving them.
What do these flowers mean to the messenger?

An old friend from high school, Corbin Waylay, moves back to town. When he shows up, he stirs up all kinds of trouble for Georgina. Her life-long friend, Sid Trail, hates him and makes that fact clear to Georgina. But despite the warnings from her friend, she just can’t help the feelings that resurface. The feelings she hasn’t felt for anyone since high school graduation, the feelings that only Corbin can induce.

As Corbin moves closer into her life, it causes a rift between her and Sid. The mystery flowers continue to appear and begin to add to the stresses of life.
Love, secrets, pain, and lies surround Georgina, putting her trust to the test.
When the messenger is finally revealed, will the meaning of the flowers be enough to repair the damage of those hidden secrets?

I've known Rachel for about a year now, I've seen bits and pieces from all the amazing novels she's working on, and part of me couldn't be more proud of her. A Message of Flowers is a completely different New Adult title. Different how you ask? Well sadly when someone hears the term 'New Adult' sex its what comes to mind, and well that's completely wrong. At least in my opinion anyways. So many might be disappointed because it doesn't have that sex some crave, but what it does have is a deep connection between two people. A magnificent love story between two people who were destined for each other no matter where their lives took them. It's a book about kids growing up, falling in love, and living life.

It's real.
It's honest.
It's something that every one dreams of finding.

So back to the story.. Georgina is the owner of this flower shop, her best friend Sid works for her, and her crazy best friend Breeze. OMG I absolutely love Breeze and hope she gets her own story. She's hilarious and you all will love her. Now there's Sid... I like Sid, don't necessarily agree with some of the things he does, but every story needs a villain even if it's a minor role. Then there's Corbin, absolutely love him. He's mine just so y'all know, I've staked claim on him and when he's not with GG he's with me! Lol So Corbin comes back into town after being a way for awhile. The same attraction GG had in high school comes flaring back to the surface and good ol' Breeze teases her about it. Sid on the other hand is jealous and starts acting out. There's also a secrete messenger leaving flowers at GG's house. Each flower that means something else, but when put all together mean one thing, but who's the messenger and what exactly does the message mean to them?

The beginning of the book is a little slow paced, but I love that about this book. It gave me time to understand each character, to feel each emotion as if it was happening to me, and it presented a love that didn't seemed rushed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against insta-love, but  I loved the way Rachel took her time and presented everything. Georgina and Corbin's story stuck with me for a while after I read this book and I could definitely re-read it without a second thought. So if you haven't picked up your copy of A Message of Flowers you should do so now!
